3 Month Cashflow Forecast

What is included in my 3 Month Cashflow Forecast?... and how do I access it?

What does my 3 Month Cashflow Forecast tell me?

Your 3 Month Cashflow Forecast tells you the following:

  • Your forecast bank balance including your unreconciled transactions at the end of the current month,
  • The expected cash you will receive in the next three months,
  • The expected cash you will pay in the next three months,
  • The forecast bank balance at the end of the next three months.

How is my 3 Month Cashflow Forecast calculated?

Your forecast takes into account your end of month cashflow forecasted bank balance, and adds your expected 3 month cash receipts and payments you are forecasted to receive, based on the last 3 months, or the same 3 months last year.

How do I choose whether I base my 3 Month Cashflow Forecast on the last three months, or the same three months last year

  1. Alexa will say "I want to base your forecast on the most relevant data.  Do you think the next three months, will be similar to the last three months?
  2. If you think your cashflows will be similar to last 3 months, say "Yes"
  3. If you do not think your cashflows will be similar to last 3 months say "No"
  4. Alexa will then say "Ok. Do you think your cashflows will be similar to the same three months last year?"
  5. If you think your cashflows will be similar to the same three months last year, say "Yes"
  6. If you do not think your cashflows will be similar to the same three months last year, say "No"
  7. Alexa will then say "Ok. It looks like you are expecting your next three months to be different, from anything you have experienced recently or last year. You can now choose to quickly complete a short forecast session with your own numbers, or, we can continue on to your receivables and payables briefing. Please say, continue or say re-forecast myself"
  8. If you want to re-forecast yourself with your own numbers, say "Yes"
  9. If you do not want to re-forecast yourself with your own numbers, say "No"
