Do I need an Alexa device?

No, you don't need an Alexa device to use Tania.  We currently provide 2 options to utilize Tania's services, one being Tania-Chat and the other, Tania-Voice. 

For access via Tania-Chat, you can use any of your preferred devices.

For access via Tania-Voice, you can use your mobile phone (or an Alexa device), and the Amazon Alexa App.
